BoreSaver IKL Pro

BoreSaver IKL
Calcium and Manganess Treatment
IKL 5G
NSF Calcium Treatment

Calcium carbonate and manganese deposits are known to clog the perforations of well casings, resulting in a dramatic decrease in well performance. These harmful deposits can also wreak havoc on the internals of a pump, ultimately causing a decrease in pump efficiency and an increase in energy costs. BoreSaver IKL Pro is the safe, convenient and rapid acting liquid solution for combating calcium carbonate and manganese oxide.

IKL Pro is supplied as a concentrated liquid and can be used undiluted or mixed with water just prior to use depending on the dosage required. It is a proprietary chemical blend of acids with a non-ionic surfactant that promotes emulsions. Unlike competing treatments, BoreSaver IKL Pro can be applied directly to the well without the costly process of removing the pump.

IKL Pro works directly on loosening and dissolving the troublesome deposits and related contamination. Any of the standard rehabilitation methods are then employed, including surging and brushing, air-lifting and pump-in recycling, to safely pump the deposits and contamination away. The ideal cleaning duration can be between 4 and 24 hours. The frequency of follow-up cleanings will be determined by the natural conditions in the system, although regular maintenance is recommended.

Recommended Dosage

IKL Pro is added directly to the water system and the amount to use is based on the volume of water. Typical dosage rates are between 3-5% of the water volume in the well, depending on the severity of the contamination.

IKL Pro is available in 5 gallon containers,
55 gallon drums and 275 gallon IBC.
IKL Pro can be used in conjunction with
all other BoreSaver treatments.
