We strongly encourage users to purchase a completely integrated system (video survey/geophysical logging) from a single source to ensure all components function properly, such as our DC5150 .
A full-featured underground camera system generally consists of (1) a camera, (2) video controllers, and (3) a hoist or winch or some other mounted device to lower the camera down the hole, and a (4) truck or van in which all the components are professionally packaged. At Laval Underground Surveys, each of these components are designed and manufactured to strict tolerances to work together as a unit.
The ultra-portable R-CAM 1000 is a limited-feature version of the R-2000 appropriate for many downhole video photography applications (wells 4-12 inches in diameter).
